Maths Week

It's almost Christmas already and we have had such a busy year.  Take a look at some of the exciting things we did.

We had lots of fun with Maths week, doing Maths trails, treasure hunts and playing Maths games with our parents and grandparents.

Science Week

We had great fun experimenting during Science Week.  A company called Abbott came into the school and did some really great experiments with us.

College Awareness Week

We took a trip to Dun Laoghaire College of Further Education for College Awareness Week.  We really enjoyed the Woodwork and especially the dog-grooming.

We learnt about an artist called Kandinsky and studied his "Winter Landscape". Then we created our own using lots of bright colours!

Christmas Art

We had so much fun doing these Christmas Collages and look how well they turned out!!

Fighting Words

In September we took a trip to Enniskerry and took part in a workshop called Fighting Words.  By the end of the day we had written a book as a whole class, called The Cranky Old Man.  It was great fun and included a character called Millie, the talking cheese!
